King River Rafting has been operating since 2014, and over this period we have grown into one of the must do Tasmanian adventure tourism experiences. We have come a long way since 2014 and are proud to have become part of the new fabric of Queenstown. As a company we pride ourselves on providing truly unique and personal adventure experiences for our guests and a family like atmosphere for our staff. Since 2014 we have come a long way, taking thousands of people down the King River and have developed working partnerships with  businesses both big and small including Hydro Tasmania, The West Coast Wilderness Railway, and Roamwild.

The founding guardians of King River Rafting were Paul and Michel Steane, who took the leap of faith in starting this journey. Currently King River Rafting is under the stewardship of Thea Hoyle and Oliver Dexter and of course our fury four legged friend Bailey.
